so the only thing bruteforce showed was the downloaded folder and not mine.i then right clicked it and selected the 'updated account id and copied PARAMS' which eventually changed the downloaded files profile to my set profile(i also had to remove copy protection) i pluged my original game file in the computer, deleted the original file that is on the original game save and dragged the new downloaded into that spot.

i got it working but am not really sure if i remember correctly, all i did was delete the downloaded file and my original game file off my computer and usb stick(because i was super unorganized), then i went back to my ps3, downloaded my original game save, put the usb stick in the computer(leaving the file in the usb stick) and set up the profile 1 with that, after that if i'm correct i took my usb stick out and then downloaded the game file that is not mine off the internet and left it on my desktop, i then went to bruteforce and selected the desktop folder which opened the folder i downloaded.
